Secondly, don't focus on how hard or tiring working out will be. When I first started at the gym they do offer to go around with you to show you how to use machines. Going to a class feels like it takes some of the pressure off, all I have to do is show up and I started going to the gym, lost 100 pounds and learned so much about patience, discipline, keeping my calm, steady upward progression and dedication. Or I could right after school but the problem is I feel like id be more likely to just skip it and do something else and not go to the gym. But protein is protein so you can drink it more than once in a day if you want. If somebody told me scientifically I should be taking it easier, I wouldn't really give af- ima go hard or I feel unfulfilled/weak. The truth is only very few people in the gym have room to actually judge anyone. Instead of going from being in a 800 calorie surplus to suddenly eating 1 leaf of lettuce a day try just not having that 1 can of coke everyday. You shouldn't go hard if you were out for 2 months. I'm not an elite bodybuilder or marathon runner, but I've been going on and off for several years and it's just got to the point that if I go in there and mind-numbingly do another movement with the same damn weights I'm going to become a hollow vessel of pushing and pulling. It’s good to take rest day even if you want to go to the gym go walk on the treadmill. For me, I go to the gym religiously and still hold on to fat. If you don’t know what that is, every time you go to the gym you will be doing either a little more volume or a little more weight. I aim for 6 days a week, if I have the time I go consecutively 7 days, most recently I've been 2 weeks straight at the gym. About 5 is another busy time according to my friend so if you can shift your time try to find a slower time of your gym to go. It REALLY depends on what you're doing at the gym. If not that then remember everyone sees a someone who clearly doesn't go to the gym IN the gym, we usually think highly of it. I also keep razors, lotion, cologne and deodorant, liquid chalk too. People tend to be most consistent with what they enjoy. If you feel it too easy, put on another 5%. Which is great, and plus I met a really great work out partner. The less you are motivated to go to the gym, the more you'll have a feeling of accomplishment and pride at the end of your workout. The first four times will probably be rough.
