So, all regular pieces of armor you have gives you skill points in certain skills. Barroth's suit is really nice in 3U, if you can stand to farm him. Don't need to make it, just see it and look at the armor's resistances. Their supple skin makes for good protection. If we are talking about efficiency, no, gypceros armor is not better than jaggi armor. The most important thing on a set of armor is the skills you are going to get when using it.
